This award was presented to legendary Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen for the sale of over 25,000 copies of “Hysteria” in Switzerland. What makes this award so prestigious is the fact it was Rick Allen’s personal record award and presented to him. More importantly, the award is for Def Leppard most successful album “Hysteria”. When the Band got this award, they had no idea yet about how incredibly successful their Album Hysteria was going to be and sell for more than 25 million copies worldwide.
