From the estate of Vanguard Records art director Jules Halfant we offer this original mock-up art for a Bob Dylan concert at Philadelphia's Town Hall on October 25, 1963. The photograph with cut and paste mockup copy is mounted to illustrators board. Part of the original photo is obscured by white paper to shorten the length. Handwritten notations and corrections as well as the Philadelphia shipping address are in blue and red ink or marker. The various handwritten measurements pertain to the potential sizes being considered. It is interesting to note that while 50 posters and 2000 handbills were ordered, we've seen only two handbills and no known surviving posters. 10" x 15", EX. Estimate $7,000-$8,000.
