Gotta Have Rock and Roll accepts consignments of significant items and small and large collections
for our online auctions as well as our store located at 153 East 57th Street, in
the heart of New York City.
What kinds of items are acceptable for consignment?
Any significant piece or collection of Rock & Roll, Entertainment, Sports or Historical
memorabilia is worth discussing with us including: Signed photographs, original
photographs, handwritten letters and documents, awards and significant artifacts.
Handwritten lyrics, concert memorabilia (including stage-worn costumes, original
posters, signed albums, stage used instruments, etc). Signed sports equipment, including
bats, balls, jerseys, line-up cards. Signed and handwritten historical documents,
letters and personal possessions from the worlds of politics, science, aviation,
space, general history, etc.
HOW TO CONSIGN
Step 1: Submit your item(s) for our consideration. You can email
your list, preferably with digital images attached, to
email@example.com. Please make sure you include all of your contact information,
including the best times (day or evening) in which to contact you. You can also
call the executive office toll-free at 800-950-1202 or at 212-750-7900. You can
also make an appointment to bring your item(s) into the store if that is convenient.
Step 2: We will review your items and then contact you to discuss
your proposed items and whether they are appropriate for consignment.
Step 3:Once we've agreed to accept your consignment we will issue
you a consignment agreement and review it with you so that you understand the terms,
including commission, of the contract.
Step 4:You sign the contract and send it to us along with the agreed
upon consignment item(s), we will in turn sign the contract as well and send you
back a copy for your records.
