While Babe Ruth has four different cards to choose from in the Goudey baseball set, here, there is only one. This card, in terms of difficulty, is comparable to the #149 Ruth in the Goudey baseball set. It is rarely offered in PSA NM-MT 8 or better condition and is often found centered towards the bottom or exhibiting a slight angular cut. After 12 home run, 11 walk, 13 slugging percentage and 8 run scoring titles in his career, Ruth was certainly "The King" of his era. In fact, many people forget that he also hit for average since Ruth is so well know for hitting homers. In 1923, Ruth almost reached .400 for the season with a .393 average.
