Pele led Brazil to a historic FIFA World Cup victory in 1958, scoring two goals in Brazil’s 5-2 win over Sweden to clinch the tournament. The Brazilians took one of the most stacked teams in soccer history to Sweden, showcasing the immense talents of Mane Garrincha, Djalma Santos, Vava, Dida, Mario Zagallo, and more. Pele’s portrait on this Gazeta Esportiva collectible is situated next to that of Garrincha, another of Brazil’s national icons and the 1962 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner.
