An extremely rare, original black and white photograph personally owned by Alice In Chains lead singer and co-writer Layne Staley. The 3.25 x 5.25 original photograph is of himself and his soulmate, girlfriend Demri Parrott. Layne worshipped Demri and she is thanked in the liner notes for the Alice In Chains album "Facelift". Their relationship was so intense that when their engagement broke off sometime in '93 or '94, Layne's music took a downward turn, only to plummet after her tragic death due to an inflammation of the heart caused by a heroin overdose. Layne struggled with depression and drug addiction for most of his adult life, and from mid-1996 and onwards, he never performed live again. He died, due to his addiction, in 2002 at the age of 34. The photograph is a cut-out of Layne and Demri, it has been cut around their faces. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
