An incredible handwritten letter by Rick Allen about life. Rick Allen writes, “I handle all my experiences with wisdom, with joy, with love and with ease. We have all proved that different races can be productive no matter what country or continent or plant in Miriam’s case…. All is well in our wonderful, wonderful world”. A poem about life itself and how it is best for everyone to get along, and for everything to be positive about any experience they have. Affirmations inspired by the spiritual writer called “Louise Hay”. You can read that Rick always kept his sense of humor high. Rick and Miriam had to adjust to a new way of living, but they did all the fun parts of life anyway. Jet skiing, driving, diving, Rick just did it! From the collection of Miriam Barendsen. The foundation was co-founded by Miriam Barendsen, Rick Allen's girlfriend throughout the 1980's, who was in the car with Rick when the tragic accident occurred resulting in the amputation of his arm. The funds raised by the Baladi Foundation are used in many ways to help the vulnerable Baladi animals in Egypt including: Purchasing of food, providing financial support for on-the-ground organizations and other volunteers, sterilization (spaying and neutering), veterinary care, adoption and fostering, awareness campaigns, field operations, animal ambulance service, relocation of animals to countries outside of Egypt.
