Provenance: From the collection of Irwin Pate. Irwin Pate was a renowned booking agent and promoter for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States. He worked with all the biggest stars in the world, and because of his connections was able to acquire a massive collection of music memorabilia. This piece of memorabilia was given to a female venue employee by Elvis after a show. Irwin was able to purchase the ring from the employee in 1978 (stated in the bottom of the letter of authenticity).
