Elvis Presley Owned & Worn Blue Flamed (Lightning" Leisure Suit.

From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate, this is Elvis Presley' Presley owned and worn sky blue leisure shirt with incredible, colorful flames, or lightning running down the left arm and the left leg (as we know, Elvis' trademark logo was the "TCB" lighting). The suit was made by Stuart McGuire Sportswear, and bears their label on the inside of the jacket and the inside of the pants.

Irwin Pate promoted talent all over the U.S. and during his career he and his wife obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. According to the detailed letter of provenance that accompanies this fabulous suit, Irwin knew Elvis Presley and was also good friends with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker. Irwin worked with Elvis and the Colonel several times over the year, and after Elvis tragically passed away, the Colonel gifted and sold Irwin some articles that belonged to Elvis. Included in these items was this fabulous two-piece leisure suit. The suit has been in the Pate's collection for many years.

Condition: Very good.

Size: No indication of size on labels, we believe it to be a size large.

Authentication: Letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow Clarine on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
