Elvis Presley has signed and inscribed this September, 1960 "MovieLand and TV Time" magazine to close friend Gary Pepper who started Elvis' first fan club in Memphis called the "Tankers." Gary had cerebral palsy and Elvis more or less "adopted" him as a son, purchasing a house for him, letting him help with fan mail and later giving his father Sterling Pepper as a guard at the famous Graceland gate. Elvis has written, "To Gary Thanks for everything your friend Elvis Presley" in black ballpoint pen on the cover. The magazine is in good condition with significant wear especially along the binding. There are two 2.5 inch tears on the cover, as well as on the two first pages. The inscription and signature are not affected by the tears and are in very good condition. Measures 8.5 x 11. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
