Elvis Presley Stage Worn & Owned White Linen "Pirate" Shirt.

From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate, this is Elvis Presley's Stage worn and owned white linen "Pirate" shirt.

Irwin Pate promoted talent all over the U.S. and during his career he and his wife obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. According to the detailed letter of provenance that accompanies the shirt, this white pirate-style shirt was worn by Elvis during a live performance, and then left at the venue. Irwin, who was backstage at the venue, "rescued" it. The shirt remained in the collection of the Pates for many years.

Size: No label with size indicated, we believe it to be a Large.

Condition: Very Good. The laces are not with the shirt, each cuff has the original button. There is an extremely tiny brown stain, which could have been from a cigarette, on the back of the shirt.

Authentication: Letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow Clarine on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
