These were Elvis Presley's personal tie clips that he had in his jewelry case. They were gifted to Sam Thompson, a close friend and bodyguard, by Vernon Presley at the time of Elvis' funeral in August, 1977. Vernon gave Sam these tie clips just before Elvis's funeral as he wanted Sam to choose which one Elvis should wear to be buried in. Sam had been introduced to Elvis in 1972 and became a part of his inner circle, eventually becoming a personal bodyguard. Very good condition, comes with affidavit regarding provenance from Sam Thompson and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity. *Please note: the minimum bid and estimate have been revised from those appearing in the print catalog.
