Detroit Tigers Hank Greenberg and Charlie Gehringer pose for this photograph while teammates in 1939. Greenberg — a Hall of Famer and one of the most dominant MLB sluggers of all-time — was first baseman for the Tigers and the first prominent Jewish American baseball superstar. Gehringer is also a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and with Greenberg the Tigers captured the 1935 World Series. Measures 9 x 11. Very Good condition.
