Janis Joplin Signed Texas International Pop Festival Concert Program.
A vintage printed folio (approx. 12 x 12 in) souvenir program for the Texas International Pop Festival held at Lewisville, Texas, from 30th August - 1st September 1969, signed and inscribed by Janis Joplin, 'To George, Love, Janis Joplin xxo'" in bold black ink to a clear area of an inside page featuring her image and a brief printed biography, Joplin has added a small sketch of a love heart in her hand beneath her signature.
The Texas International Pop Festival took place two weeks after Woodstock and Joplin performed on the first day, Saturday, 30th August 1969. Other artists and bands that appeared at the festival included B. B. King, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Winter and Sly and the Family Stone.
An incredible piece.
Condition: Some very light creasing and minor age wear, overall good condition.
