John Lennon's first solo project while still a Beatle is this book "In His Own Write" which was first published on March 23, 1964. This copy is a fourth printing in that same year, and has Lennon touted as "The Writing Beatle!" on the top left of the front cover. The book is filled with Lennon's short stories, poems and line drawings, often surreal in nature. Measuring approximately 5.5 x 7 x .5, the book is in overall good condition, with all the pages intact. The front and back covers show some wear particularly around the edges and the cover for the binding is missing (however the binding is intact). Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
