KISS 1974 to early 1976 Concert Tours Original Flight Road Case #1 that held the Original 4FT Kiss Stage Logo --- Case was custom ordered by KISS and made by R&R Cases out of Chicago, Illinois --- KISS labeled this flight case #1 because it was unloaded 1st into a concert venue upon set-up and then loaded out last at the end of the show making it ready for the same cycle at the next city. On the left side of the case, there is a R&R Cases metal name plate with the Serial Number RR 1024 -- We have a fax copy of the page pertaining to this case within the original R&R Cases ledger book showing the serial number of the case matches right up to KISS. The case has the vintage KISS logo stenciled on it in multiple places. The case has 2 distinct sides. Side 1 of the case is stenciled "SS", because those 2 letters fit specifically into place on this side and Side 2 of the case is stenciled with just the letters "KI" because those 2 letters fit specifically into place on that side. The interior foam padding of the case has basically all deteriorated due to age; all that's left on the inside are foam crumbs mixed with some original pieces of KISS confetti because sometimes a few pieces were clinging to the logo when put away for the night. As large as this case is, the caster wheels on it are top notch, so the case literally moves with the slightest push. The case is also heavy but becomes much more manageable and lighter by unlatching and removing both side doors. Measures --- Overall, a historic piece that played an important behind the scenes role in shaping Kisstory that must be incorporated into a vintage collage display within someone's collection. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
