This vintage shimmery red strapless swimsuit with pleating at the bust and hip was worn by pop singer Rihanna in the 2008 video for the Maroon 5 song “If I Never See Your Face Again." Rihanna wears the swimsuit while sitting in a club style booth, and then lying in the same booth with her head on Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine’s lap in the high-glam concept video. The song received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration at the 51st Grammy Awards. The swimsuit, designed by the 1955 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Designer of the Year Rose Marie Reid, is in excellent vintage condition and comes complete with its original label. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house that supplied the piece for use in the video.
