This is Madonna's screen worn baseball uniform from "A League Of Their Own". This "All American Girls Professional Baseball League Rockford Peach" uniform, number 5, was worn by Madonna as Mae 'All-The-Way-Mae' Mordabito. The Uniform consists of a peach colored knee length dress with a large Rockford Peaches patch in the center, a large '5' sewn on the back and a smaller AAGPBL patch on the left shoulder, a three button front and matching belt. "A League of Their Own" is a 1992 film which tells a fictionalized account of the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). It starred Geena Davis, Tom Hanks, Madonna and Lori Petty. It was adapted by Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel from a story by Kim Wilson and Kelly Candaele, and was directed by Penny Marshall. Very good screen worn condition. Originally obtained from Starwares in August, 2007, the uniform comes with photos of Madonna wearing it in the movie and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
