The Rolling Stones' Brian Jones has handwritten and signed this letter to a fan, dated April 5, 1966, apologizing for failing to answer her letter sooner, "…I hope you don't think we take our fans for granted now, and don't care about your letters and kindness. Believe me we really do appreciate everything and we can't thank you enough." Written in blue ballpoint pen. With corresponding envelope postmarked "15-4-66" (the envelope bears the markings on the verso of having been matted). Letter measures approximately 5 x 8, the envelope, 5.5 x 3.5.
