Bob Dylan has handwritten and signed his working lyrics to his iconic song "Girl from the North Country" in pencil on 5 x 8 paper. He has signed it "B. Dylan" in the upper right corner and written the title in parentheses at the bottom. There appears to be handwriting on the lower section, above where he has written the title, that he erased. Dylan has also made a drawing on the verso on top of the typed lyrics to the French children's song "Alouette". These lyrics comes from the McKenzie family who Dylan lived with in Greenwich Village in the early 1960's. Overall very good condition, there is a two inch long tear that does not affect the lyrics, title or his signature. The lyrics come with a letter of authenticity from Clinton Heylin, the, leading authority on Bob Dylan handwritten memorabilia and a letter of provenance from Peter McKenzie. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
