From the Dottie Rambo Elvis Presley Collection, a telegram that Elvis sent to his close friend singer-songwriter Dottie Rambo on August 10, 1973. Dottie and Elvis were very good friends, and Elvis even recorded some of her songs. Elvis would frequently follow a recent meet-up with a letter or telegram, always very gentlemanly, constantly reminding his friends how important they were to him. The telegram is framed with another telegram that Dottie received from her friend singer, guitarist and songwriter Jerry Reed just two days before, congratulating her on Morganville, Kentucky naming a day after her. Jerry was also a friend of Elvis's, Elvis had covered Reed's hit song "Guitar Man" and Jerry played guitar on the track, as well as on some others. Framed. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
