Marilyn Monroe owned and worn sleeveless black evening dress with black sheer top and jet ornamentation and a slit up the right side. The dress measures 30" at the bust, 24" at the waist and 32" at the waist. The slit up the side measures 18" in length. Overall very good condition with some light staining at the underarm area. This dress was originally sold in Sotheby's December 20, 1997 sale in New York and is accompanied by the original Sotheby's tag from that sale as well as the original catalog. Also comes with a copy of the notarized letter from the individual who purchased the dress at the sale and a Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
