This is a fabulous 16 X 20 gelatin silver print published by the estate of famous Marilyn Monroe photographer Bruno Bernard who originally photographed this iconic image of Monroe from the movie set of her 1955 film “The Seven Year Itch.” Marilyn Monroe as “The Girl” stands over a subway grating to catch the breeze from a passing train as her dress blows upward, revealing her shapely legs and undergarments. Through his camera lens Bernard captured one of the most well-known scenes in the history of film, an image that cemented her as Hollywood’s biggest sex symbol of the 20th Century!. The photograph is printed Bernard of Hollywood in the lower right corner and on the bottom border is notated by hand, “from the estate of Bernard of Hollywood.” Framed to measure 21 x 25. The print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Bruno Bernard’s daughter Susan Bernard, President of Bernard of Hollywood Publishing and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
