Marilyn Monroe shares a moment of ease with co-star Clark Gable in this 10 x 8 black and white original wire photograph from their 1960 film, "The Misfits." The wire story, which appears on the front, is dated November 11, 1960 and bears the heading "HER REAL LIFE HAS NO HAPPY ENDING" referring to her separation (and soon-to-be divorce) from playwright Arthur Miller (who had written she screenplay for the movie). The original news clipping, stamped "NOV 14 1960" appears on the verso, and the Examiner's reference library stamp, with the same date, appears as well. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
