Led Zeppelin Robert Plant 1970s/1980s Handwritten Letter (UK). A one page handwritten letter that was sent by Robert Plant to Stan Urban who was a resident musician at a club called La Reja, San Antonio, Ibiza. The letter which was sent from Plant’s Jennings Farm home between 1979 and 1982. It reads:-Good morning! Trusting you’re all fine etc. Well I’ve done it; transferred some reggae from tape to tape. Unfortunately the quality is not very good but the original has travelled miles & miles with me on tour and is more or less knackered. There is some nice stuff on it + some more conventional ‘pop’ by Toots & the Maytells which I like a lot. Originally I had two tapes, the one you have here, and another. The other was far more ‘DUB’ than this one. It looks as if I left in America – you know “Gotta to be out of the hotel in 3 minutes” – Anyway I’m hunting for some other stuff & will record it in time! Alas we can’t make Ibiza as we hoped Maureen has to go back in hospital to have some of her metal removed from her leg in a weeks time – and will be in hospital for a couple of weeks, so we shall have to see what happens afterwards. Keep in touch, Good Vibes, Robert, Maureen, Carmens, Logan. The letter measures 21cm x 29.75cm (8.2 inches x 11.7 inches). It has been folded and laid flat. Two tears on the folds have been repaired from the back using acid free tape. The condition is very good.
