Babe Ruth has signed this Official American League Baseball in ballpoint pen on the sweet spot. A truly unique and one of a kind piece of Ruth memorabilia, Ruth signed the ball for a good friend of his whom he often signed items for in the past. This time was different however, as Ruth had a bloody nose when he signed the baseball and the ball has remnants of his blood on the ball. The ball has been kept in the same family from generation to generation, up to the time of this auction. Comes with a letter of provenance from the woman whose Great Uncle received the ball from Ruth, a Beckett Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
