Bob Dylan lyrics inscribed and signed “The Times They Are A-Changin” song book page. His inscribed lyrics are for his song “Subterranean Homesick Blues”. The Inscription varies from the recorded version. Bob was always playing with words and probably wanted to make the inscription more personal for the inscribed. As a result these words constitute an original lyric and alternate ending to this iconic work. He has written "You think Johnny’s in the basement still mixin up the meds on our out on the pavement mixin up the feds" Handwritten in white pencil on a page measuring 8.5 x 11. The signature and inscription are legible however has faded. The page has minimal wear and creases throughout. Dylan lived with Pete McKenzie and his family in Greenwich Village when he first came to New York and was performing at small venues. Dylan gave this signed and lyric's inscribed book page to Peter's mother, and it comes with a letter of provenance from Peter McKenzie, a forensics letter of authenticity, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
