The rare vintage signature of young British born actor Sydney Greenstreet personalized and inscribed “…with my good wishes Sydney Greenstreet 1926,” is penned in black fountain pen on this original 8 X 10 black and white photograph having a photo credit stamped on verso. Performing as a stage actor at the time, Greenstreet began his career in film at the age of 61, debuting in the “Maltese Falcon” (1941) with other memorable performances in “Casablanca” (1942) and “Passage to Marseille,” (1944). Good condition, with some evident toning and stray ink marks. A small tack hole in each corner.
