President Franklin D. Roosevelt has signed this letter typed on White House stationery dated June 20, 1935 made to former New York politician and former NYC postmaster William R. Willcox acknowledging his compliments concerning Roosevelt’s remarks to the State Works Progress Administrators. Roosevelt won a record of four presidential elections and became one of the most important historical figures during the first half of the 20th century. Roosevelt helped navigate the United states through the Great Depression, World War II and his social security program. Letter 7 X 9. Framed with a picture of Roosevelt 21 X 18. Very good condition.
