A two-sided handwritten note on United Sates Senate Memorandum stationery that was handwritten by Evelyn Lincoln and handed to John F. Kennedy when he was still in the Senate, but was already President-Elect as it was written in 1960 and is hand-dated "Dec 13". Lincoln was Kennedy's personal secretary from when he was a Senator through his Presidency at the White House. She often would pass notes such as this to Kennedy when he was on the phone or in a meeting so as not to disturb him. This note refers to Congressman Frank Smith wanting to see him, and on the other side it appears to be notes she was keeping at a meeting. Lincoln kept the note in Kennedy's Senate office files and then moved it to his files in the White House. Handwritten in blue ballpoint pen, 5.25 x 4.75 and measures 5.75 x 4.75. Very good condition. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
