This is Elvis Presley’s owned and used Shure SM-58 microphone with his name engraved on the barrel. Elvis often had his name engraved on the microphones he liked so that no-one else would use them. This microphone was used during the rehearsals of his MGM film, “That’s The Way It Is.” Elvis used various microphones over the course of this career and kept many at Graceland, his California homes and at his Palm Springs Home. One of Charlie Hodge’s jobs, besides helping Elvis on stage, was to vocalize with him every day. This microphone comes with a letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge.
