These are Elvis Presley’s worn “sharkskin” beltless continental dress slacks with tapered legs and side buttons on the waist to allow for tightening of the pants. There is a Sy Devore label inside the waist with Elvis’ name, date and job number typed on the label. There is also an MGM stamp on the Devore label. These pants were most likely worn by Elvis in the MGM film “It Happened at the World’s Fair” as the dates and other information on the label indicate that period. Elvis gave these pants to his friend and wardrobe valet Richard Davis. Davis was also an extra in “It Happened at the World’s Fair”. Comes with letter of provenance from Davis.
