This is Elvis Presley's owned and worn black Stetson fedora hat decorated with a gold hat band and a gold tiger positioned on the front of the hat. The tiger is typical of Elvis’ fondness for wild animals (As Elvis’ karate name was “Mr. Tiger”). Elvis often wore this hat with his gray “Superfly” faux fur coat (also offered in this auction) and it naturally made quite a striking outfit. Accompanied by a color photograph of Elvis wearing this hat, or a similar one, while driving his car to a recording session. Comes with letter of provenance.
