Tom Petty owned and worn sterling silver ring. From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. For over four decades he promoted talent all over the United States and internationally. During his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew Tom Petty and worked with him on several occasions. During one of their meetings Irwin told Tom Petty about his collection and Tom took this sterling silver ring off his finger and gave it to Irwin. Very good condition. Irwin Pate passed away in May 2018 and the ring comes with a letter of provenance from Clarine Pate on Pate Booking Agency letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
