Superb signature cut of Confederate General Robert E. Lee, signed “R E Lee,” in dip pen ink (2 X 1.5). framed with a beautiful engraved image of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. Accompanying the signature is a heavily taped handwritten cover letter from 1882 by the Secretary of Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia. Framed 11 X 16. Very good condition. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
