Jefferson Airplane's Marty Balin has signed the first page of this nine page August 28, 1967 AFTRA engagement contract for the Perry Como Holiday Special in red ballpoint pen. Balin has signed on behalf of the group. He has also initialed the document nine times (mostly for changes that were made). The contract comes with a cover letter from the Airplane's booking agency, APA (Agency for the Performing Arts), declining a request for a new contract, signed by William Donohue. Measures 8.5 x 11.
