Carly Simon original Jack Robinson special edition gelatin silver photograph. Carly has been photographed here by Robinson for a fashion shoot in July, 1971. Simon had just turned 26 at the time and her debut album had been released the previous February - her second album “Anticipation” would follow in November. Carly would go on to win the 1971 Grammy for Best New Artist. The photograph was hand-printed from Jack Robinson’s original negative in 2000 at the Jack Robinson Archive and Gallery darkroom in Memphis, TN. Very good condition. Measures 20 x 24. The photograph is hand-stamped on the back and comes with an embossed and stamped first edition book on Jack Robinson published in 2011 by Palazzo Editions in England. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
