Kris Kristofferson original Jack Robinson special edition gelatin silver photograph. A portrait of American actor, singer, and songwriter Kris Kristofferson from December, 1970. He had released his self-titled album "April" which contained the hits for Janis Joplin "Me and Bobby McGee", Samimi Smith " Help Me Make it Through the Night", Johnny Cash "Sunday Morning’ Comin’ Down". He also had two movies about to be released when this photograph was taken, "Dealer" with Karen Black (never released), and "The Last Movie" for which he also wrote some songs. The photograph was hand-printed from Jack Robinson’s original negative in 2000 at the Jack Robinson Archive and Gallery darkroom in Memphis, TN. The photograph comes with an embossed and stamped first edition book on Jack Robinson published in 2011 by Palazzo Editions in England. Very good condition. Measures 20 x 24.
