Actor, comedian, and radio personality Mickey Rooney signed this photograph of him accepting a Lifetime Achievement Academy Award in 1983 in black felt pen. Rooney’s career spanned nine decades and over 300 films, winning him numerous awards. Perhaps his most iconic role was that of Andy Hardy, which he played over 16 different films — entitled The Hardy Films — from 1937 to 1946 as well as a final film in 1956. Signed with a black felt pen. Measures 11 x 14. Fair condition, with some edge wear.
