Intriguing stereoview published identified on verso “The Fairy Wedding Party” published by E & H. T. Anthony (Edward Anthony, Henry T. Anthony, New York City who were one of the largest stereoview purveyors in the world) from a photographic negative by renowned photographer Mathew Brady known for his famous photograph of Abraham Lincoln. The stereoview pictures the party at the February 10, 1863 wedding of Charles Sherwood Stratton (better known as “General Tom Thumb”) to Lavinia Warren along with best man George Washington Morrison (“Commodore Nutt”) and Maid of Honor Miss Minnie Warren. These individuals were all dwarfs associated with circus pioneer P.T.Barnum. Good condition with a vertical crease in the center. 6 X 3.125.
