Troy Aikman was inducted into the Pro football Hall of Fame in 2006. Aikman spent his entire 12-year career with the Dallas Cowboys and won three Super Bowl titles and was a Super Bowl MVP. This style of jersey was worn only once during the 1994 season, on September 19th against the Detroit Lions. Aikman passed for 220 yards and a touchdown during the game. On the front left tail is the Apex manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “48”. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. On the left chest is the NFL’s “75” Anniversary patch. On the front and back is the player number “8” in blue tackle twill. Across the back on a blue nameplate is the player’s name “AIKMAN” in white tackle twill. Down the sleeves is the Cowboys team “Star” patch and the player number “8” in white tackle twill as well as an Apex logo. Aikman signed the back of the jersey in black marker and is very bold. The jersey shows wear and staining. Very rare to find a game used jersey especially one identified to a very specific game. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Cowboys Equipment Manager Buck Buchanan, a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
