Both the first Queen of Rock Janis Joplin and the King of Party Records Redd Foxx both signed this autograph album page using a black ballpoint pen. Joplin, of course, rose to fame while singing with Big Brother and the Holding Company and was the most influential female rock singer of her era. Her one-of-a-kind vocals and her iconic onstage performances made her a legend in her tragically short career. Autographs of hers are incredibly rare due to her short lived fame, as only a few years separated her breakthrough album in 1968’s “Cheap Thrills” and her premature death in 1970. Redd Foxx was a premiere stand up comedian of the 1950s and 60s who rose to fame for his raunchy performances. Good condition. Measures 4.5 x 6. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
