Straight from the Albert Grossman Collection, this is an original first printing poster for the Big Brother and the Holding Company at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco on October 15 and 16, 1966. The A poster is known for the "Family Dog © 1966 Mouse! Studios" appearing in medium blue/purple. Printed before the concert, measures 14 3/16" x 19 15/16". Grossman managed Janis Joplin as well as numerous other rock and roll icons. The poster is in very good condition, but is in a cracked frame. Measures 14.5” x 20.5”. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
