A single sheet of yellow lined paper with handwritten lyrics by Tom Petty to his 1993 song “Love Is a Long Road.” Petty has credited the song on the top right under the title to “T. Petty, M. Campbell.” The first verse reads “There was a girl I knew/ she said she cared about me/ she tried to make my works/ the way she thought it should be/ yeah we were desperate then/ to have each other to hold/ but love is a long, long road.” Handwritten in blue ink on lined yellow paper measuring 8.5 x 11. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
