An impressive painting of Duke Ellington, the iconic composer, pianist and leader of a jazz orchestra for more than five decades painted in the likeness of the 1976 album cover titled “The Ellington Suites,” produced by Pablo Records (Division of RCA). The album accompanies this painting. Ellington wrote or collaborated on more than one thousand compositions and was posthumously awarded the Pulitzer Prize Special Award for music in 1999. Very good condition. 24 X 36. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
