George Michael signed and inscribed this copy of his 1986 single “The Edge of Heaven” by his pop duo Wham! using a blue ballpoint pen. The inscription reads “To Alex, from George Michael. George Michael rose to superstardom in the duo Wham! with Andrew Ridgeley before leading a wildly successful solo career, and at the time of his death in 2016 total sold over 115 million records worldwide. “The Edge of Heaven” was marketed as Wham!’s farewell single as by the time of it’s release Michael had outgrew the duo. George Michael also came out as gay in a 1998 interview and is a noted gay rights activist. Very Good condition. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
