Don McLean signed and inscribed this copy of his enormously successful 1971 album “American Pie” using a blue fiber-tip marker. The inscription reads, “to glen/ Don McLean”. McLean is a singer-songwriter best known for the title track “American Pie” off this album. He has said that this album is dedicated to Buddy Holly, and critics believe that sonically it perfectly encapsulates his folk rock style. In 2004 McLean was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Fair condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
