American actor Tony Curtis signed and inscribed this head-shot photograph of him using a black felt-tip pen. The inscription reads, “to Susan/ all our wishes -/ Tony Curtis”. Curtis was an immensely successful actor who achieved the height of his success in the 1950s and 60s, although his career spanned a massive six decades. He appeared in over 100 films, and although many of his early roles were mediocre movies, in 1953’s “Houdini” he proved to fans and critics alike that he was a serious actor with range and skill. Two of his six children, Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis, are also both actors as well. Very Good condition. Measures 8” x 10”.
