Prolific and critically acclaimed actor Alec Guinness has vintage signed and inscribed this 8 X 10 black and white photograph “Alec Guinness The Man in the White Suit,” picturing his character from this 1951 satirical science fiction comedy film. Among his many accolades, Guinness won an Academy Award, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe, and a Tony Award. Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, Guinness was also honored with the Academy Honorary Award for lifetime achievement in 1980 and the BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award in 1989. Among his most memorable roles is his starring in ‘The Bridge on the River Kwai,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” Great Expectations,” “Doctor Zhivago,” and “Oliver Twist,” and his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in “Star Wars” (1977).
