Legendary baseball cartoonist and newspaper illustrator Willard Mullin drawn this original cartoon sketch with coloring and line notes. Drew in the 60’s, this cartoon is likely about Norm Cash and the dominant 1960’s Tigers teams. Mullin is best known for his creation of the Brooklyn Dodgers Bum” — a personification of the 1950’s Dodgers teams. He won numerous awards throughout his career and was commissioned to draw yearbook cover art for the Brooklyn Dodgers, the New York Giants, and the New York Mets. Good condition. Measures 15” x 22”.
